What it shows

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems, published by the International Organization for Standardization. ISO writes the standard but does not issue certificates itself. An independent certification body audits the company against it. Our audit was carried out by Americo Quality Standards Registech Pvt. Ltd, a certification body accredited by the United Accreditation Foundation (UAF), and the certificate carries the UAF and IAF marks. It is issued against the 2015 edition of the standard.
The scope written on the certificate is "Providing Pest Control, Pest Management, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Consultancy & Services", at our office in Gulistan-e-Johar.
What an ISO 9001 audit looks at
The auditor does not watch a single treatment. They examine how the company is run, and whether it does what its own procedures say.
- Customer requirements: how an enquiry is recorded and how the job is planned and quoted.
- Competence: how technicians are trained and how that training is recorded.
- Records: whether there is a record of what was done on each job.
- Complaints and corrections: how a complaint is logged, what is done about it, and what is changed so that it does not happen again.
- Review: whether management checks its own performance and acts on what it finds.
What it means on your job
You get a written quote before any work starts, a record of the treatment, a named place to take a complaint, and a set process for putting things right. Those are the parts of a pest control job that usually depend on who happens to answer the phone.
What it covers
ISO 9001 certifies how the company is managed. It is not a rating of one treatment or of one chemical. Those are covered by the written warranty and by the page on the chemicals we use. Certification also has to be kept. The certificate is valid for three years subject to a satisfactory surveillance audit each year, and the current one runs to 1 May 2027.
Memberships
A membership is not a licence and it does not certify any treatment. It shows that a company takes part in its trade and in its city's business community, and it gives the company something useful in return.
National Pest Management Association (NPMA)
The NPMA is the trade association for the professional pest management industry. It was founded in the United States in 1933 and has member companies in many countries.
What it gives us
Access to the association's technical guidance, training material and industry standards. That is how a company in Karachi keeps up with the methods and products being used elsewhere, instead of repeating what it learned twenty years ago.
Why it matters to you
The treatment methods described on our service pages, such as gel baiting for cockroaches and soil barriers for termites, are the ones the wider industry uses.
